Fat Loss - the importance of weight training25 January 2018
The biggest misconception around weight/resistance training is that it will make you big and bulky. This will not happen, unless along with such training you consume an excessive amount of daily calories. Very often females worry about putting on bulk, but women simply aren't biologically equipped to pack on muscle in the way that may worry them, they simply do not have the levels of testosterone that men have. In comparison to other forms of training, there is no better way than resistance training for toning and fat loss. Having said that, a good training plan should include both cardio and weights, with more focus on the weights if your goals are to tone up and lose weight in the most effective way.
The benefits of a good resistance plan include increased lean muscle (tone), better fat loss (more muscle equals a higher metabolism), stronger bones and connective tissue (improves quality of life when ageing) increased strength (who doesn't want to be stronger?), better self- confidence plus many more.
Alongside healthy eating choices, I can help you overcome your fear of weights and work towards your best shape ever – both men and women.
With a proven track record of transforming body composition, I have developed programmes which enable you to get into the shape of your life within a 2-3 month period. With maximum commitment, results could be shorter or longer depending on your starting point, however the lower the starting point the more striking the end results can be.
If you are considering a big change to your body for the New Year, and are willing to work hard, White Room Fitness will provide you with just plan you need. Our Transformation course is very focused and highly effective.
